The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the scheduled two-week closure of Weed Avenue in Stamford at the intersection of Route 1 beginning on August 16, 2021. The closure and detour are necessary to facilitate ongoing construction activities associated with the replacement of Bridge 00315.
Detour signs will be installed to guide motorists and pedestrians to alternate routes. Motorists will be detour from Weed Avenue to Cove Road, Seaside Avenue, and ending at Route 1.
Modifications or extensions to the schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.
