The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a thin surface pavement treatment will be performed on Route 43 in Cornwall. The project consists of a thin surface treatment to be placed on Route 43 from Route 4 to Route 63.
The work is being performed in advance of roadway resurfacing to take place in 2021.
Work is scheduled to occur on Tuesday October 27, 2020, and is scheduled to be completed on Thursday, October 29, 2020.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2021 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
