The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing a scheduled two-night closure of the Exit 10 on and off-ramps on I-84 eastbound in Newtown, on June 29 and June 30, 2020. The Exit 10 ramps will be closed each night, beginning at 10:00 PM, and will reopen at 5:00 AM the following morning. The closure and detour are necessary to facilitate construction and safety improvement activities. All work is weather permitting.
Detour information:
• Eastbound Exit 10 off-ramp: Take exit 11 follow Route 6 detour.
• Eastbound Exit 10 on-ramp: Follow Route 6 to Route 34 detour to exit 11.
