The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that as part of a nighttime bridge maintenance project, asphaltic plug-joints will be repaired on the I-91 southbound over Amtrak in North Haven.
This work consists of the repair of asphaltic plug-joints, on bridge No.(s) 00316 on Interstate 91 southbound in North Haven. This work is scheduled to occur Monday, July 20, 2020 through Friday, July 24, 2020.
This work is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2020 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs. The work is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect various lane closures on Interstate 91 southbound between Exit 11 (Route 22) and Exit 12 (Route 5) in North Haven. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday night through Friday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
