The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that permanent direction of traffic changes will be implemented starting at 7:00 AM on Monday, July 27, 2020, at the following intersections on Route 44 (Albany Avenue) in Hartford: Magnolia Street and Irving Street.
Beginning at 7:00 AM on Monday, July 27, 2020, the following permanent one-way direction of traffic changes will take effect on Magnolia and Irving Streets:
Magnolia Street will change to a one-way heading north from Homestead Avenue to Albany Avenue. There will be no directional changes on Magnolia Street north of Albany Avenue.
Irving Street north and south of Albany Avenue will change direction(s) to flow away from Albany Avenue. North of Albany Avenue, Irving Street will become a one-way heading north toward Mather Street. South of Albany Avenue, Irving Street will become a one-way heading south toward Homestead Avenue.
