The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Service Road 482 (East River Road) in Barkhamsted. This project is scheduled to begin on Friday, May 9 and be completed on Friday, May 16, 2025.
This project is being performed by Galasso Materials and Black and Boucher.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect the road to be closed. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The detour for this closure will be Route 318 to Route 181 to Route 20.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
