The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing will be performed on Route 6 in Danbury (from the NY State Line to 0.02 miles East of Driftway Road). This project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 22 and be completed on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
This project is being performed by State Forces.

Motorists can expect one lane alternating traffic from the NY State Line to 0.02 miles East of Driftway Road in Danbury. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
