The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing milling and resurfacing will be performed on I-84 eastbound in Danbury between Exits 3 and 4 on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The project DOT01740473CN “JJ” consists of milling and resurfacing a failing section of the center lane on I-84 eastbound between Exits 3 and 4.
This project is being performed by Waters Construction.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be a left lane closure on I-84 eastbound between Exits 3 and 4 on October 5, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns, portable impact attenuation systems and State Police will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
