The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-91 southbound between Exits 32 and 29A in Hartford. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, April 21and be completed on Friday, April 28, 2025. The project DOT01710506CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 0.74-mile segment of I91 southbound in Hartford from Exits 32 to 29A. The milling and resurfacing will be performed by Waters Constructions.
This project is included in CTDOT’s 2025 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect ramp and lane closures of I-91 southbound from Exits 32 to 29A in Hartford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday-Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
