The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that metallizing of Bridge#03358 (Route 8 Southbound) will be performed on North Main Street in Thomaston. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, January 13, 2025, and be completed on Monday, March 14, 2025. The project 0140-0178 consists of metallizing of 11 bridges along Route 8.
CTDOT Project No. 0140-0178 was awarded to Blast All Inc. at a cost of $17,357,810.70 on 12/31/2023 and is scheduled to be completed 11/30/2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 4 in Thomaston.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be alternating one-way traffic on North Main Street from Monday, January 13, 2025, to Monday, March 14, 2025. Traffic control signing patterns and a temporary traffic signal will guide motorists through the work zone.
