The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that illumination replacements will be performed on I- 91 north and southbound between Exit 1 and 8 in New Haven. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 9 and be completed on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The project consists of installing new light poles.
This project is being performed by Advance Energy Group.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be right lane closures on Interstate 91, from Exit 1 to 8, from Monday, June 9 to Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The work schedule is Monday night to Friday morning. Traffic control signing patterns, crash attenuator units will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
