The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 191 Broad Brook Road north and southbound in East Windsor and Enfield from Route 140 Melrose Road to Town Farm Road. This project is scheduled to occur on Wednesday March 5 and be completed by Wednesday March 19, 2025. The project DOT01710507CN consists of Guide Rail Upgrades.
This project is being performed by the Durham Fence Company.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be right lane and shoulder closures on Route 191 north and southbound in East Windsor and Enfield starting on Wednesday March 5, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns, trailer mounted attenuators and certified flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
