The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a guiderail upgrade on I-395 northbound will be performed at the Exit 45 off-ramp in Thompson. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, May 5 and be completed on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. DOT01703718CN consists of removing and replacing the existing 3-cable guiderail.
This project is being performed by Eagle Fence and Guiderail.
DETOUR INFO
There will be a two-day ramp closure at the Exit 45 off-ramp on I-395 northbound, in Thompson from Monday, May 5 to Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Traffic will be detoured from I-395 northbound to Exit 46, left onto Heritage Road, left onto I-395 southbound, to Exit 45 southbound, at Kennedy Road. Traffic control signing patterns, crash attenuator vehicles and a State Trooper will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
