The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing fuel station improvements to Plainfield and Occum CTDOT facilities starting Friday, May 23, 2025.
CTDOT Project No. 0172-0534 was awarded to ETT Enterprises, Inc. at a cost of $1,888,960.00 on April 29, 2025, and is scheduled to be completed November 11, 2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
The Plainfield Signs and Markings Facility will have a fuel station for gasoline, diesel, and diesel exhaust fluid installed on site. The Occum Maintenance Facility will have aboveground storage tanks for gasoline and diesel exhaust fluid installed adjacent to the existing fuel station.
These improvements are being performed to help both facilities meet Federal and State Building Codes, and to meet Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) regulations.
