The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge work will be performed on Route 40 (Mount Carmel Connector) east to I-91 ramps in North Haven. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 30 and be completed on Thursday, July 3, 2025. This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair.
This project is being performed by Mohawk.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be various lane and shoulder closures on Route 40 east to I-91 in North Haven from Monday, June 30 to Thursday, July 3, 2025, between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Traffic control signing patterns, crash units, illuminated arrows, and State Troopers will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
