The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing bridge work will be performed on Route 40 East and West Bound in North Haven and Hamden between Interstate 91 and Route 10. This project is scheduled to occur on Thursday, March 27 and be completed on Friday, April 18, 2025. This project ensures the bridges’ drainage structures remain in a state of good functionality.
This project is being performed by Hammonasset.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be shoulder closures and left or right lane closures on Route 40 east and westbound between I-91 in North Haven and Route 10 in Hamden from Thursday, March 27 to Friday, April 18, 2025. from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns and illuminated arrow boards will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
