The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT is announcing that basin and drain cleaning will be performed on I-84 eastbound from the New York State Line to Exit 8. This project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, April 13, 2025, and continue through Thursday, May 15, 2025.
This project is being performed by Staxx Construction.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be alternating lane closures on I-84 eastbound from the New York State Line to Exit 8 beginning Sunday, April 13 and continue through Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. No work will be performed on Holidays. Mobile truck attenuator units will be used to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
