Wrong Way Detection Installation: Route 8 Northbound in Naugatuck
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that wrong-way detection installation will be performed at Route 8 northbound in Naugatuck at Exit 26 starting March 11, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Exit 26. Traffic will be detoured Route 8 to Exit 27 off-ramp, left onto North Main Street, back onto Route 8 southbound to Exit 26 off ramp to Route 63. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 pm to 5:00 am., Monday through Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
