Wrong Way Detection Installation: Route 8 Northbound at Exit 38 Ramp in Thomaston
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a wrong way detection installation will take place on Route 8 northbound at Exit 38 in Thomaston. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, with a rain date of Monday, May 6, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Exit 38 of Route 8 north in Thomaston. Traffic will be detoured as follows: Continue on Route 8 northbound to Exit 39 off-ramp. Take a left onto Route 6, left onto Route 8 southbound to Exit 38 off-ramp.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
