Wrong Way Detection Installation on Route 7 Southbound, Exit 8 in Danbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing wrong way driver detection installation will take place on Route 7 southbound at Exit 8 in Danbury. This project is scheduled to occur on Thursday, March 14 and be completed on Friday, March 15, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Exit 8 of Route 7 Southbound in Danbury. Traffic will be detoured Backus Avenue to Sugar Hollow Road, left onto Wooster Heights Road, left onto the Exit 7 on-ramp northbound.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
