Wrong Way Detection Installation on I-84 East and Westbound Exit 4 Ramps in Danbury
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong way detection installation will take place on I-84 east and westbound at Exit 4 in Danbury. This project is scheduled to occur on Thursday, March 28 with a rain date of Monday, April 8, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Exit 4 of I-84 east and west in Danbury.
Traffic will be detoured as follows:
Exit 4 Westbound
Exit 2 westbound off-ramp, right onto Milestones Road, right onto Mill Plain.
Exit 4 Eastbound
Exit 5 off-ramp eastbound, left onto Main Street, left onto Exit 5 on-ramp for I-84 westbound. Take Exit 4 off-ramp.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
