Wrong Way Detection Installation on I-291 at Exit 4 Westbound in South Windsor
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong way detection installation on I-291 Exit 4 westbound in South Windsor on Thursday, May 9, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
This work is performed by CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 1 and TAPCO representatives.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-291 Exit 4 westbound in South Windsor. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists around the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is Thursday, May 9, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
