Wrong Way Detection Installation: I-91 Southbound at Exit 31 State Street in Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a wrong way detection installation will be performed on I-91 southbound at Exit 31 in Hartford Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
This work is performed by CTDOT Electrical Sign Installation, District 1 and TAPCO representatives.
LANE CLOSURE INFO/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect exit ramp closures on I-91 southbound at Exit 24 in Rocky Hill. Traffic will be detoured I-91 southbound, take Exit 29 ramp in Hartford, right onto the Columbus Boulevard ramp, right onto Columbus Boulevard. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists around the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is from 6:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
