Shoulder Closure on Route 2 Westbound Exit 2E Off-Ramp to Governor Street in East Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing a shoulder closure on Route 2 westbound Exit 2E Off-Ramp to Governor Street in East Hartford will begin the week of April 22, 2024. A long-term shoulder closure will take place on the Route 2 Westbound Exit 2E Off Ramp to Governor Street in East Hartford to facilitate the steel repairs on the pin and hanger system on Bridge No. 02380 for the next several months.
CTDOT Project No. 0170-3551 was awarded to Rotha Contracting Company, Inc.at a cost of $5,413,828.30 on December 28, 2022, and is scheduled to be completed November 25, 2024. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
All travel lanes will be open, only the shoulder will be closed.
