Safety Improvement Project: Guiderail Installation on Route 15 Southbound in Greenwich.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a safety improvement project will be performed on Route 15 Southbound in Greenwich. This project consists of guiderail installation on a 0.50-mile segment of Route 15 Southbound in Greenwich. This work is scheduled to occur Tuesday, March 26 through Thursday, March 28, 2024. 

 This project is included in CTDOT’s safety improvement program and is being performed by Atlas Fence. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect right lane closure on Route 15 Southbound, .25 miles prior to the Stanwich road overpass to .25 miles past the Stanwich road overpass in Greenwich. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to holidays and weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
