The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a roadway reconstruction project will be performed on Route 2 westbound in Bozrah just prior to Exit 23. This project is scheduled to start on Tuesday, October 29 and be completed on Friday, November 29, 2024. The project consists of full depth staged reconstruction on Route 2 westbound in Bozrah.
CTDOT Project No. 0053-0201 was awarded to Tilcon Connecticut Inc. at a cost of $11.3 million on February 22, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed Friday November 29, 2024. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be a single lane closure on Route 2 westbound in Bozrah just prior to Exit 23 from Tuesday, October 29 to Friday November 29, 2024. The lane closure will be delineated by barrier curb and will be in effect for the entire duration of the project. Traffic control signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone.
