The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing rehabilitation of the bridge carrying Interstate 84 east and westbound over Upper Ruby Brook in Willington will begin on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. This will include lane shoulder and lane closures for activities associated with the installation of foundations and overhead structures.
CTDOT Project No. 0160-0152 was awarded to Dayton Construction Company, Inc. at a cost of $2,394,967.50 on November 28, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed November 29, 2024. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
There will be various lane closures on I-84 east and westbound between Exits 71 and 72, Monday through Friday. 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., and Saturday and Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
