The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that night work will commence in Stafford Springs downtown area at the intersection of Route 32 and Route 190 on Monday, July 15, 2024. CTDOT Project No. 0134-0148/0152 was awarded to Paramount Construction, LLC. at a cost of $3,134,629.86 on January 11, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed September 13, 2024. The current contract amount is $3,722,428.62. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Nighttime activities will commence on July 15, 2024, to conduct milling operations. Following this, the full depth reconstruction and paving operations will occur July 21 through July 26, 2024. Associated lane closures with alternating one-way traffic will occur between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
The western limit of work is the intersection of Main Street and Spring Street. The northern limit of work is the intersection of Furnace Avenue and East Main Street. The southern limit of work is the intersection of River Road and Highland Terrace.
