The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 4 in Burlington and Farmington from Route 179 to Route 177 (South Main Street) starting Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.60 segment of Route 4 in Burlington and Farmington. The milling of this project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 21 and end on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. The resurfacing of this project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 9 and end on Monday, June 17, 2024. No work will be performed on any scheduled holidays.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect delays and one lane alternating Traffic. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
