Milling and Resurfacing Project on Route 104 in Stamford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 104 in Stamford. The project consists of milling and resurfacing 0.51 miles of Route 104 in Stamford. This project is scheduled to occur the night of Sunday, May 5 through the morning of Friday, May 10, 2024.  The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Sunday, May 5 through Tuesday, May 7, 2024.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, May 7 through Friday morning, May 10, 2024.

This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.  

LANE CLOSURE INFO 

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 104 from just south of Maltbie Avenue to just north of Webbs Hill Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday night through Friday morning.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
