Metal Beam Guide Rail Upgrade Project
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a guide rail upgrade project will be performed on Service Road 847 in Waterbury. The project consists of upgrading existing guide rail systems to current standard systems on Service Road 847 Thomaston Avenue from Route 262 to Eagle Street. The upgrades are scheduled to begin on or about Monday, April 1,2024 and continue through May 1, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Service Road 847. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
