I-95 Northbound Lane Shift in North Stonington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a lane shift along I-95 northbound beginning just after the Exit 92 off-ramp and extending for approximately 1 mile, will be in effect from Friday, January 12 through Monday, April 1, 2024. This I-95 northbound lane shift will guide traffic to the left side while construction work is being performed along the right sides of Bridge 01808 (Route 2) and Bridge 01812 (Route 49).
CTDOT Project No. 0058-0340 was awarded to American Industries at a cost of $38,250,000.00 on January 21, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed June of 2026. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
