Guiderail Upgrades on I-84 in Willington
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on I-84’s center median east and westbound exit 72 to exit 73 in Willington starting Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-84 east and westbound in Willington, from exit 72 to exit 73. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for installing this guiderail is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Atlas Fence will begin this install on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
