Closure of On-Ramp Westbound to I-84 in Plainville
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that the Woodford Avenue on-ramp westbound to I-84 in Plainville will be closed starting Tuesday, March 19 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., through Monday, March 25, 2024.

Motorists can expect the Woodford Avenue on-ramp closed to I-84 westbound in Plainville. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists around the work zone. Day work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 through Monday, March 25, 2024. Traffic will be detoured west on Woodford Avenue, right onto route 10, right onto route 372, right on route 72 east bound to I-84 west bound.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
