The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that routine bridge repairs need to be made on Bridge #00362 in Mystic during the night of February 5, 2024, through the morning of February 6. The rain date of completion for any cancellations is February 7, 2024.
This project is included in CTDOT’s Bridge Maintenance Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect a full closure and detour for Bridge No.00362 on Route 1 (mile point 109.10) in Mystic. The Mystic Drawbridge will be closed to traffic. Detour signs will be set up on the West side to direct traffic to Allyn Street and I-95 northbound. On the East side, cars will be detoured onto Route 27 Dennison Ave to I-95 southbound. The night work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Monday – Tuesday.
In the event of an emergency, we will be able to open the bridge to traffic, but depending on what point of the process we are in, it could take up to 20 minutes. In the event of an emergency contact Sal Morello (860) 459-8222
