Bridge Maintenance Project on I-95 Northbound in Fairfield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound in Fairfield starting Monday, May 6, 2024. The project consists of asphaltic joint installations to the Interstate 95 northbound in Fairfield. This project is scheduled to occur the evening of Monday, May 6 to the morning of Friday, July 12, 2024.
The work is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound in Fairfield between Exit 19 (Center Street) and Exit 25 (Commerce Drive). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Monday evenings through Friday mornings.
There will be no lane closures on the following holidays:
- Memorial Day observed May 27, 2024 | from 6:00 a.m., May 24, 2024, to 8:00 p.m. May 28, 2024.
- Independence Day observed July 4, 2024 |from 6:00 a.m., July 3, 2024 to 7:00 p.m. July 7, 2024.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
