The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Interstate 91 on bridges 003088 and 3015A southbound in New Haven. The project consists of asphaltic joint installation to Interstate 91 north and southbound in New Haven. This project is scheduled to occur on the evening of July 17 through July 31, 2024.
The work is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Applications Ltd.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 91 north and southbound in New Haven between Exit 6 (Willow St.) and Exit 3 (Trumbull St./Orange St.). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday evenings through Friday mornings.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
