Beam End Repairs on Interstate 95 and Interstate 395 in Various Towns in District 2
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that beam end repairs on various I-95 and I-395 Bridges will begin on April 1, 2024. The purpose of this project is to address structural deficiencies primarily related to beam ends and implement other systematic preventative maintenance repairs as a way of extending the service lives of the bridges in a cost-effective way.
CTDOT Project No. 0172-0527/0528 was awarded to ROTHA Contracting Company, Inc. at a cost of $11,811,867.00 on January 5, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed November 21, 2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District II in Norwich.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
There will be intermittent lane closures while performing beam end repairs along I-95 and I-395.
