ADA Compliance Ramp Upgrade Project on Route 39 and Service Road 845 (Chase Parkway) in Danbury and Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that several Americans with Disability Act (ADA) ramp upgrade projects will be performed on Route 39 and Service Road 845 (Chase Parkway) in Danbury and Waterbury starting Monday, June 17 through Friday, July 12, 2024. The project consists of upgrading existing road crossings to ADA compliance on Route 39 and Service Road 845 (Chase Parkway) in Waterbury and Danbury at various intersections. The upgrades are scheduled to begin about Monday, June 17 and continue through Friday July 12, 2024.

No work will be performed on the 4th of July holiday.

This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 39 and Service Road 845 in Danbury and Waterbury. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
