Thin-Surface Treatment Project on Route 193 in Thompson
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a thin-surface treatment project will be performed on Route 193 in Thompson.
The thin-surface project consists of surfacing a 3.37-mile segment of Route 193 in Thompson. The project is scheduled for Monday, November 14, 2022, through Thursday, November 17, 2022.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2022 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 193 from East Thompson Road to the MA State Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
