Which contractors does the vaccine mandate apply to?

The vaccine mandate applies to contract workers, including subcontract workers, whose job duties require them to make regular or frequent visits to, or have an assigned work site is at, the following facilities:

• Albert J. Solnit Children’s Center-South, Whiting Forensic Hospital, John Dempsey Hospital, or Connecticut Valley Hospital
• Any Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services state-operated facility providing hospital level of care
• Any long-term care facility, including a nursing home, residential care home, assisted living services agency, intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities, managed residential community, or chronic disease hospital

The mandate does not apply to:

• Workers who visit property owned or controlled by the state only to provide one-time or limited-duration services; or,
• Workers who are not required to enter any building owned or controlled by the state.
