While it’s possible to get approval for a class after you’ve taken it, we recommend that you get a class preapproved for credit.  If preapproved, you are guaranteed that you will be awarded credit for class attendance. If you apply for credit after completing a non-OEDM training, we can’t guarantee that the class will be eligible for credit. 

Either way, you need to fill out the: 

Application for Outside Credit Approval form in full, and submit all documentation requested. Your application will not be reviewed if it is not complete, including supporting information.

Send the application form and documentation to OEDM, and we will evaluate your request. If the class is approved, we will assign applicable credit hours.
