Do subcontractors who participate on these projects have to be prequalified?
Yes. As of October 1, 2023 per the CT General Statute 4a-100, as amended by Public Act No. 23-204, no company whose contract exceeds $1,000,000 in value may perform work as a subcontractor on said projects, unless the company is prequalified with the Department of Administrative Services.
