Overview

The DAS Statewide Security Unit provides for the overall physical security of the state employees, clients, visitors and assets of the State of Connecticut in both state-owned and leased facilities.  The unit develops and implements:

• Security Standards
• Policies and Procedures
• Standardizes Equipment and Systems
• Provide an adequate level of Security to the Employees and the Public to state assets at state-owned and leased facilities.  
• Administers the statewide workplace violence reporting system and helps other state agencies manage incidents.
