DOT Project 0063-0732 Webpage

Welcome to the webpage for Project 0063-0732, Rehabilitation of Bridge Nos.03160A and 03160B (I-84 Viaduct Bridges in front of Aetna Building), in the City of Hartford.

The project will be presented at a Frog Hollow Neighborhood Revitalization Zone meeting that will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Park Street Library at 603 Park Street, Hartford, CT.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the community an opportunity to learn about the proposed project and allow an open discussion of any views and comments concerning the proposed improvements. A Q&A session will immediately follow the presentation.

The purpose of this project is to address superstructure and substructure deterioration to keep the bridges in a state of good repair.

Right-of-way impacts associated with the proposed project are not anticipated.

Construction is anticipated to begin Spring 2026 based on the availability of funding, acquisition of rights of way, and approval of permits.  The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $33.8 Million. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 90% federal funds and 10% state funds.
