The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing additional lane closures to accommodate work between Exit 92 and the Rhode Island border on I-95 northbound, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., Monday through Friday as well as 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. These new closure windows are being added to the already approved limitation of operations on this project. Message boards and all required traffic control devices will be in place prior to any lane closure.
CTDOT Project No. 0058-0340 was awarded to American Industries at a cost of $38,250,000.00 on January 21, 2023, and is scheduled to be completed November of 2025. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 2 in Norwich.
