The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 32 in Stafford from Spring Street to Route 319 (Orcuttville Road). The project DOT01710466CN “H” consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.98-mile segment of Route 32 in Stafford from Spring Street to Route 319 (Orcuttville Road). This project is scheduled to begin milling by Rafferty Fine Grading, Inc. on Sunday June 24 to Friday, June 28, 2024. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Monday, July 22 to Friday, July 26, 2024, by All States Construction.
This project is included in the CTDOT’s 2024 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

Motorists can expect lane closures on, Route 32 in Stafford from Spring Street to Route 319 (Orcuttville Road). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The night work schedule for this project is Sunday, June 24 to Friday, July 26, 2024, 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday – Thursday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area. No work will be performed around any scheduled holidays.
