The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that guide rail upgrades will be performed on Route 43 in Cornwall. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, October,15 and be completed on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The project DOT01703718CN consists of upgrading existing guide rail systems to current standard systems on Route 43 north and southbound from Route 4 to Route 63.
This project is being performed by State Forces.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
There will be lane closures on Route 43 from Tuesday, October, 15 to Wednesday, November, 27, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns and traffic control personnel will guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
