The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a truck detour on Route 190 and Route 32 will begin on Monday, June 12, 2023.
A truck apron will be installed at the rotary in the center of Stafford Springs to assist with the flow of traffic through that intersection. Typical vehicular traffic will be able to navigate per normal roadway configurations. Truck traffic will be restricted in regard to left turn movements around the traffic circle to minimize construction activity conflict.
DOT Project No. 0134-0148/0152 was awarded to Paramount Construction, LLC. at a cost of $3,134,629.86 on January 11, 2023 and is scheduled to be completed November 18, 2023. This project is administered by the Bureau of Engineering and Construction, Office of Construction, District 1 in Rocky Hill.
