Pavement Rehabilitation Project in Glastonbury and Marlborough on Route 2
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is developing plans to rehabilitate the pavement on CT Route 2 in Glastonbury and Marlborough. The project involves rehabilitating the pavement on east and westbound CT Route 2 between the Commerce Street overpass in Glastonbury (mile marker 6.27) and approximately 1,300 feet east of the Park Road overpass in Marlborough (mile marker 14.63).
The present schedule indicates that the design will be completed in October 2023, with construction anticipated to start in the spring of 2024, assuming acceptance of the project, availability of funding and receipt of any required right-of-way and environmental permits. This project will be undertaken with 0% federal and 100% state funds.
